Collective Risk Game (EMERGIA) is a blockchain-based behavioral experiment where individuals face a fundamental social dilemma: contribute tokens to help the group meet a threshold and avoid disaster, or act selfishly to maximize personal savings—at the risk of collective failure. Inspired by real-world cooperation problems, the game simulates scenarios where group success hinges on sufficient collective effort. If contributions fall short, disaster may strike, wiping out all potential gains. Yet if the group succeeds, even minimal contributors benefit. The innovative design incorporates empirical and normative expectations, personal beliefs, and dynamic risk probabilities to model real social behaviors. EMERGIA leverages token rewards, AI-driven insights, and decentralized incentives to explore how people navigate trade-offs between individual gain and societal good, offering both gameplay and a powerful research platform for studying cooperation under risk.
To buy tokens, first ensure your Ethereum wallet (such as MetaMask) is funded. Click the Buy Token button and confirm the transaction in your wallet. You will then be redirected to your dashboard page, where you can either enter the number of tokens you wish to purchase or the amount in USD you want to spend (calculated based on the live Ethereum price). Click Buy Tokens and confirm the transaction in your wallet again. Finally, refresh the page to see your updated token balance in the Profile section.
Our project allocates a total of 900,000,000 tokens across six key categories, ensuring a balanced distribution to support growth, incentivize participation, and maintain long-term sustainability. The breakdown is as follows:
| Category | Tokens | Percent |
|---|---|---|
| Presale | 270,000,000 | 30% |
| Credit | 270,000,000 | 30% |
| Marketing | 180,000,000 | 20% |
| Reward | 117,000,000 | 13% |
| Liquidity | 40,500,000 | 4.5% |
| Team | 22,500,000 | 2.5% |

October 2025
• Create smart contracts for presale and referral rewards.

• Write early documents and plans for the project.
• Test the game rules for disaster events.
January 2026
• Release an early version of the game for players.
• Promote the game through events and social posts.
• Collect real user data and reward players with tokens.
• Check system performance and share updates with users.
• Start partnerships with researchers and institutions.
February 2026
• Add AI tools so that researchers predict players behavior.
• Allow players to create custom game groups with their own rules.
• Expand token use to unlock special features and rewards.
April 2026
• Have external experts review all smart contracts.
• Work with NGOs and labs to participate
• Grow the game to support social science research.
• launch the Beta version of the game.

To play the game, you do not need to spend your purchased tokens, you can start with your credit tokens. Credit tokens are earned exclusively through referrals, rewarding you for bringing new players into the community. These credits are only earned by growing the network organically, up to the maximum number of tokens you have purchased. Once the Alpha version of the social game is launched, you can use these credits instead of your purchased tokens. Credit tokens become tradeable only after you play the game and earn rewards. When you make your first purchase, you will see your referral link under “Your Referral Link” in your profile. Copy it and share it with your friends.
EMERGIA tokens will be listed and become tradeable after the presale ends and liquidity is added to exchanges.
Credit tokens are designed to encourage community participation and engagement in the social game. They become tradable only after you start playing the game. The reward tokens you earn are also tradable. However, any credit tokens that remain unplayed are not tradable. Your purchased EMERGIA tokens will be tradable once EMERGIA is listed on exchanges.
Unlike credit tokens that must be played first to become free and tradable, your purchased tokens are tradable immediately after EMERGIA is listed on exchanges.
Participants can claim their tokens at the time of listing on the exchange. We will provide all the details and the claiming method on our website EMERGIA.social.
This project helps researchers understand how people cooperate, follow social rules, and take risks together. At the same time, it’s made to be a fun and interesting game for players. By playing, people can learn about teamwork and how groups and communities may all win if everyone cooperates or may lose because of some selfish behavior by individuals seeking more gain. The main idea is to study how social norms change over time as a result of individuals observing the outcomes of their own behavior and the behavior of others.
Rewards are given to participants only when they play the game and their group wins. However, those who have played less receive more rewards. Additionally, users who play for an entire period of 30 days also get rewards, which are then divided among all participants who have played the whole 30-day period.
The alpha version will be released during the presale and in October 2025. This version is designed to engage participants and test the game. To make it fast and easy to use, contributions for each round are stored on a centralized server. It is safe, and no one can see other participants' contributions. After each round, the data is recorded on the smart contract and blockchain, making it visible to everyone. The beta version is fully decentralized. We plan to use Zero-Knowledge Proofs (ZKP) to ensure the confidentiality of contributions during each round. After the round ends, contributions become publicly available. We plan to release the beta version in February 2026.
Societies are custom game environments with different rules, such as varying disaster probabilities or thresholds, allowing diverse experiments and strategies.
No. EMERGIA is for educational and experimental purposes only. Tokens have no guaranteed monetary value outside the ecosystem.
EE stands for Empirical Expectation and represents what an individual expects from others—based on past data and personal experience, the player forms a belief about how much other players will contribute to the game. NE stands for Normative Expectation. It reflects how much others expect the individual player to contribute. PNB stands for Personal Normative Belief and refers to your own belief about what contribution is right (your personal norm).
All gameplay data is made publicly available for research, helping scientists study cooperation and social behavior. They can use AI and machine learning to predict three or four main variables, including contribution, EE, NE, and PNB.
